Wilks Brooks Residence

Wilks Brooks, his wife Agnes and son Joseph maintained this house while at their plantation, Woodlawn, on Old Poplar Pike. They would drive by buggy to Germantown on Saturdays for supplies and stay overnight for Sunday services. Agnes lived as a widow in the house until 1898.
